Sacral Chakra

The sacral chakra, or Swadhisthana in Sanskrit, is the second chakra and is closely tied to emotional balance and creativity. It is located just below the navel and so regulates the reproductive organs. An open and balanced sacral chakra is important for living a balanced, healthy, and prosperous life.

A closed sacral chakra can shut you off from opportunities and stifle your creativity. You may feel isolated or numb, and disconnected from your emotions and the people around you. People with closed sacral chakras often try to compensate by being overly controlling or abusive.
